DEF CON Singapore

I'm heading to the DEF CON Singapore in 2026!

I've had to keep this under wraps for a while, but I'm absolutely thrilled to finally announce that I will be part of the very first DEF CON Singapore!

For anyone in our community, you know that DEF CON is more than just a conference; it's a cornerstone of hacker culture. The news that its mission is going global is huge, and I’m honored to be involved as it makes its next stop at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from April 28-30, 2026. This landmark event is being co-organized by the DEF CON team, HTX, and strategic partner CSIT.

I’ve been to many conferences that focus on corporate security products and career development. They have their place, but DEF CON is something else entirely, and it’s why I’m so passionate about this.

DEF CON is about pure discovery. It's about the thrill you get when you master a new skill or see everyday technology used in a way you never imagined. It's a gathering for the curious, the creative, and anyone who feels that pull to understand how things really work, take them apart, and see what they can truly do. It’s this spirit that I believe our community needs more than ever.

The event will have everything that makes DEF CON legendary—world-class presentations, hands-on Villages to dive deep into niche topics, and intense contests to test your skills. They're even bringing in 2-day training courses on April 26-27 for those who want to level up. I truly believe this will be a game-changing moment for the community in Asia and beyond. I cannot wait to see the talent and ideas that will be on display.
